Author Glen Hellman

Author

Glen spends his time as an executive coach, working with business leaders to help them determine what to do and holding them accountable for doing it. He’s a member of the faculty at the A. James Clark School of Engineering at the University of Maryland, where he works with PhD inventors from 12 universities, including Maryland, Carnegie Mellon, the University of Pennsylvania, and Johns Hopkins, to develop plans and strategies for bringing their patented inventions to market.

He’s a natural storyteller and a creative force, having performed stand-up comedy, written and performed original music, and authored a non-fiction book alongside several gripping crime thrillers and suspense novels. Glen leverages his storytelling expertise to teach business leaders and academics how to craft compelling narratives that inspire action and influence decision-making. His no-nonsense approach to communication combines humor, authenticity, and a knack for breaking down complex ideas into memorable, impactful stories.

Glen lives in the Washington, DC suburbs of Northern Virginia with his wife, Nancy. Together, they’ve raised three grown children: two sons and a daughter.

In his free time, instead of golfing or watching sports, he writes books.
